SEPTEMBER 2004 WOLFSONIAN DIRECTOR APPOINTED TO AAMD Cathy Leff, director of The Wolfsonian, has been appointed to the Association of Art Museum Directors (AAMD). AAMD is a 175-member national organization whose mission is to support its members' goal of increasing the contribution of art museums to society. Membership in AAMD is based on both the qualifications of the individual director and of the art museum. "It's a great honor to be appointed to the AAMD, not only for me but for The Wolfsonian," Ms. Leff notes. "In the short time I've been a member, I've benefited tremendously from the organization's resources, knowledge base, and the opportunity to meet and exchange information with national colleagues on a regular basis." |
